Hello people of the internet, I’m back *waves* I apologize for the very long unplanned hiatus. I’ve gotten caught up with the craziness of fall/school and to be honest, I was procrastinating too much over these last few months. But anyway, you’re not here to hear why I haven’t been posting, you came to read this post. So I’ll just stop rambling now. 😉
So thanksgiving is coming up soon (tomorrow, actually ;)- ) and the holiday is supposed to be about gratitude and thanking God for our blessings, right? It’s kinda sad then that on that day we tend to end up complaining more than usual: “Ugh, do I have to put up with insert annoying relatives name here today?” “I burned the pie, how come nothing ever goes right for me!?” “I can’t believe we missed that black Friday sale, this is ridiculous!”
While the purpose of this post isn’t to be all preachy and tell you you shouldn’t go Black Friday shopping or be upset that you burned something, maybe this Thanksgiving we can all (myself included 😉 ) try to be a little more truly thankful. 🙂
I’ve found that thanking God for specific things and going out of my way to notice things to be thankful for, makes me feel a lot happier and a lot more appreciative. One of the ways I tried doing that this fall was making a thankfulness wall/board. I just got some sticky notes and some cute washi tape and started putting them up in my room. I’ve been adding to it bit by bit and it’s been really fun to see it slowly grow.
…and now for the poll results… 🙂
A few weeks ago, I posted a fall poll and promised y’all I would put the results in a later post…I meant to post them earlier this fall but…see above about me procrastinating 😉
The poll questions will be in bold and the results/my thoughts will be in italics
Do you like pumpkin spice?
The answers were pretty evenly split between “YES OF COURSE” and “I like it, but not that much”. Shoutout to the one person who said “ew” though, you know who you are ;)-
As for me, I’m with the “not that much” people. I like the lattes but once we start getting to pumpkin spice Cheerios (and yes that is a thing) i’ve had enough pumpkin spice 😉
Pumpkin bread or pumpkin pie?
PUMPKIN BREAD 4TW!
….and it seems like most people agreed with me ;)-
How much do you love fall?
Everyone gave a 5/5 so I’d say y’all love fall.
